Osbornes Architects helped deliver a new customer welcome area for the Land Rover Experience at Eastnor Castle, providing a contemporary, high-quality space that enhances both visitor comfort and operational efficiency. The scheme involved extending and adapting part of the existing Listed building, requiring careful negotiation of Listed Building consent, complex level changes, and successful integration with the original structure.
The new extension more than doubled the available seating area, creating a bright, inviting environment where visitors can enjoy refreshments and take part in safety briefings before starting their off-road driving courses. A large, fully glazed elevation opens up views across the Eastnor Estate and surrounding hills, reinforcing the connection between the brand experience and the dramatic landscape.
The design deliberately blends new and old, reflecting the Land Rover brand ethos of combining tradition with cutting-edge technology. The result is a flexible, characterful and welcoming space that strengthens the visitor journey from arrival through to adventure.
