MADAME TUSSAUDS, LONDON – MUSIC

Architect & Principal Designer | Themed Visitor Environments | Live-Site Project Delivery

Osbornes Architects were appointed as Architect and Principal Designer for the creation of a new Music Festival themed area at Madame Tussauds London. This formed the first phase of a wider multi-stage redevelopment to completely transform the mid-floor of the attraction—followed more recently by the Royals and Sports & Culture zones.

The project involved developing an immersive, high-energy festival environment within the constraints of a complex historic building, requiring close coordination with Merlin Entertainments’ creative, operational and technical teams. As with all works at Madame Tussauds, the scheme had to be delivered while the attraction remained open to the public, demanding meticulous planning, detailed phasing strategies and careful on-site management to ensure visitor safety and minimise disruption.

This project demonstrates Osbornes’ expertise in delivering themed environments within live visitor attractions, balancing creative ambition with operational continuity and technical complexity.
